Shoulder Yuan Shi Dian Location: As shown by the red lines in the diagram, from the endpoint to the starting point: the lateral endpoint of the scapula spine is the endpoint. It continues inward along the lower edge of the scapula spine; when the bone is touched, it turns vertically downward parallel to the spine and continues to the armpit level, and that is the starting point.
Coverage: Acromion, front of the shoulder, armpit, lateral of the chest, and upper arm to the upper edge of the elbow joint, as shown in the GREEN area marked in the diagram.
Elbow Yuan Shi Dian Location: As shown by the red lines in the diagram, it starts from the concave of the upper front part of the elbow joint, moves upward along the humerus about the length of an index finger; for a small number of patients, it may extend upward.
Coverage: Below the elbow joint, including the elbow, lower arm, wrist, heel of palm, dorsum of hand, as shown in the GREY area marked in the diagram below.
Dorsum of Hand Yuan Shi Dian Location: It can be divided into two sections; one is located on the dorsum of the hand. As shown by the red lines in the diagram, there are three lines on the dorsum of the hand. Each line starts at the junction between the two adjacent ngers, moves upward along the gap between the adjacent fingers, and continues along the suture of the metacarpal (lumbrical muscle) until the end of it.
Coverage: From the palm of the hand to the fingers corresponding to the Dorsum of the Hand Yuan Shi Dian, as shown in the YELLOWISH GREEN area marked in the diagram.
Thumb Yuan Shi Dian Location: The other section is the thumb Yuan Shi Dian, as shown by the red dot in the diagram, located at the lateral thenar, at the base of the metacarpal bone near the carpometacarpal joint of the thumb, close to the bone.
