Sacral Vertebrae Yuan Shi Dian Location: As shown by the red lines in the diagram: put the four fingers together and press the index nger on the midline of the sacrum to align the base of the index finger with the coccyx. At this time, the point above the tip of the little finger is the reference point. Then from this point, adjust slightly to find a depression point. If pressing upward and inward at this point touches the bone, this is the highest point of the Sacral Vertebrae Yuan Shi Dian. From this highest point, proceed vertically downward and stop at the ischium.
Coverage: Lower hip (below the highest point of the Sacral Vertebrae Yuan Shi Dian and above the hip stripes), and its front, the lower abdomen, as shown in the BROWN area marked in the diagram (Provided by Dr. Chao, Hsing-Rong).
Hip Yuan Shi Dian Location: As shown by the red lines in the diagram, located on the buttocks symmetrically in a V shape. Move the thumb inward from the upper edge of the outer ilium, press slightly downward until a bone ridge is felt, take the side of this bone as the highest point, and the lowest point is located beside the coccyx. The path close to the bone that connects these two points is the location of the Hip Yuan Shi Dian.
Coverage: From the hip stripes and groin to the lower edge of the ankle joint (excluding the calf), as shown in the LIGHT ORANGE area marked in the diagram.
